Disclosure: This post was sponsored by 99 Ranch Market, but all words and opinions are my own.I love that the 99 Ranch Austin location is now open. Every time I go home to visit my parents in Houston, we stop by 99 Ranch. I load up on tofu, noodles, rice, sauces, soybean milk, and other random things I throw in to the cart. Sure, Austin has Asian markets already. Their locations are just not convenient to me. The Austin location (6929 Airport Blvd) is located where North Lamar and Airport Blvd intersects so it is pretty central. I could get some barbecue at Stiles Switch and then drop in at 99 Ranch and get a few items for dinner.
I was invited to the media preview of the Austin location. The 33,090 square feet store is the 48th store in the nation and the 6th in Texas. I also learned that the number 9 symbolizes longevity in Chinese so 99 is double the longevity. The more you know. I am going to take you guys on a tour of the store in this post. So, let's get started:

I am really excited that 99 Ranch is open. I like that there is a more accessible Asian market to us. I wish there was a location south of the river though. I can get my Asian groceries, some Dim Sum, Chinese BBQ, and pastries all in one spot. One stop shop. We will be heading here probably at least once a month. What is your favorite thing to get from the Asian market?
Until next time, happy smoking...
